Liquor Liability Endorsement – People who are intoxicated can harm others. If your business involves serving liquor for a charge, or if a license is required for you to serve liquor (even if you do not charge for it), your BOP liability coverage does not cover your liability exposure—the possibility that someone you served could cause a car accident, for example.
The Liquor Liability Endorsement provides coverage for bodily injury or property damage for which an insured may be held liable by reason of any of the following:
-
Causing or contributing to the intoxication of any person
-
Furnishing alcoholic beverages to a person under the legal drinking age or under the influence of alcohol
-
Violating any statute, ordinance or regulation relating to the sale, gift, distribution or use of alcoholic beverages
